I will be spending the afternoon in the park with friends today. A pretty perfect way to spend this American holiday. Despite distractions of park games, food, and fireworks I can’t help thinking about what freedom actually means, today and 100’s of years ago when our independence became official. Back then freedom meant the same thing to all Americans, today I have a sense that the definition of American freedom and independence spells out quite differently for each individual.
I am curious; what percentage of the peoples definitions of independence and freedom are actually being upheld?
